You can access the Fitness Centre up to five minutes before and 30 minutes after your scheduled start time. Once checked in, you may stay as long as you like. What do I need to know before visiting the fitness centre?

We are driven to be the leader in quality programming and offer a uniquely creative climbing experience. We are committed to forming connections between nature, health and friends in our communities. We are focused on collaborating with like- minded individuals and organizations locally and worldwide. Climb Base5 has been a long time fixture, and promoter of the Metro Vancouver Climbing community, with two gyms located in Coquitlam and North Vancouver. To be respectful of other members we ask that workouts be kept to 60 minutes at peak times. We’re operating 24 hours per day with extended front-desk hours to ensure proper sanitization of all gym surfaces and high-touch areas. It’s important to maintain social distancing at the gym, now more than ever. Avoid striking up conversations out of the blue with people, as they may not be comfortable hanging out with strangers.

Our staff set up the gear and manage the ropes for you during this 1 hour and 35 minute climbing session. Given the circumstances with COVID-19, we want to ensure the health and safety of our staff and everyone who climbs at our gyms. Please complete both the required waivers and be up to date on the current guidelines. There will be 3 people permitted in the Fitness Centre at a time and your one-hour time slots must be pre-booked at the Town Hall. Open gym slots are unstructured time blocks for members to get in extra work. Members are free to use equipment as needed and are responsible for returning equipment to its original spot. Members in attendance at these times are under staff supervision. We encourage athletes to use open gym time as a supplement, rather than replacement, to our CrossFit classes. Happy Minors may only use a Fit4Less club as a 4Less member, and are to access the club during staffed hours only. Check-ins must be at least 30 minutes prior to staffed hours ending. Access to massage chairs and hydro massage beds may be purchased for $5+tax. Black Card members can share their card with friends and family who are the age of majority or older as stated in their province. The Black Card Friend has access to the home Fit4Less club of the Black Card member and other amenities available to 4Less members. Black Card Friends must register on their first visit during staffed hours and may not access the club at the same time as the Black Card member. A membership card is always required to enter a club. If a Fit4Less Member or Black Card Friend does not have the membership card with them they will not be granted access into the club. If your card has been lost/stolen, a new card can be purchased during staffed hours for $20 + applicable taxes. If no time-slots are showing when you’re booking a workout, it means that the club has hit the daily maximum for bookings. We recommend checking back later in case someone has cancelled their workout that day, or, if you have a Black Card, booking at your next closest club. Booking requests further than 1 week from the current date is not permitted at this time. There will be a $5.00 penalty for not showing up to a scheduled exercise session. All patrons will be required to book for an exercise time slot. Enhanced cleaning measures will also be put in place. Electrostatic sprayers – one per facility, costing the company more than $35,000 – will be used routinely on the hour as members leave their group fitness classes, as well as overnight. Employees are also required to wear face masks and gloves. While the club won’t force its members to do the same, gyms will have these supplies on hand should they want one. In British Columbia, for example, locations previously open 24/7 are now open for 16 hours. Many of these gyms have also started operating on a by-appointment basis, Viljoen explained, where members are only allowed inside for 60 minutes. We recommend that you always bring a lock for use of our free lockers, a water bottle to hydrate, and a towel for drying off. 4Less memberships can be transferred to a new Home Club for $25.00 +tax. Please visit a host in-club and they can make the Home Club change for you. Alternatively, you can upgrade to a Black Card membership for $5.00 +tax more every two weeks and access ALL clubs across Canada. The upgrade fee is indicative of current membership pricing. If your club is generally open 24/7 you will be able to workout on holidays, however, the club will be unstaffed. Please visit our Holiday Hours page for morning information for specific holiday hours. Fit4Less does not offer fitness classes but clubs have an easy to use 30-Minute Express Circuit to guide you through a full body workout. Workouts will be limited to 75 minutes with a 15 minute change over time. Members are given a 15-minute grace period before their timeslot may be given to a standby member. If capacity allows, you will still be able to get in for a workout. We want to ensure our clubs remain safe, clean, and well maintained for our staff and members. We are able to provide members with an abundance of cleaning stations, regular facility upgrades and maintenance, shorter downtime for broken equipment, and more.

The Black Card Membership gives members access to all Fit4Less Clubs across Canada. At this time, your Fit4Less membership will not work at EconoFitness in Quebec. You can find the addresses to all of our locations by visiting Fit4Less.ca/locations. We ask you not to use chalk because of any possible allergies from other people in the club, and our commitment to keeping our clubs clean and allergen-free. In order to do this, please use the self-service kiosk located in the front entrance of the Club. A new member needs to be 16 years of age or older to join or use a Fit4Less club. Anyone who is between 16 and the age of majority in the province of where their club is located is known as a Happy Minor. You can purchase a single-use guest pass for $20+ applicable taxes from a self-service kiosk. We have also introduced No Commitment memberships should you choose to try out Fit4Less. In-Person, Group Fitness is scheduled to return in July. The July schedule will be a blend of both in-person and virtual group fitness classes. Members will be required to book a session with their trainer in advance. Locker rooms will be available for changing beginning Monday, June 7. However, lockers and showers remain closed at this time.

There would be 3 patrons permitted at a time and your hour time slot would have to be booked in advance. The Fitness Centre would be open while there are ice rentals. In-club purchases such as tanning lotion or cooler drinks can be made through debit or credit card. When paying for a membership the options vary depending on the membership type selected. No Commitment memberships are paid using pre-authorized payments taken directly from your bank account. The fee due at the time of joining can be paid using debit or credit card orInterac Online . 1-Year Paid in Full memberships are paid using debit card, credit card or Interac Online. To find out your club’s staffed hours, check your club location. We encourage everyone to cancel a workout if they can’t make it. Workouts can be cancelled even after the time-slot has started. Not cancelling your workout time-slot may result in a one week membership suspension (please don’t make us do this!). Because of the current Government restrictions in your region, workout timeslots will temporarily be reduced to 50 minutes. You can refill your water bottle every 15 minutes to ensure you stay hydrated throughout your workout. Check-ins for walk-in slots will not be allowed more than 15 minutes prior to gym slot start time. Be mindful of your scheduled time in the facility. Please ensure you enter and leave the facility within your allotted time to allow our staff to sanitize between usage periods for all users. Your allotted time includes time at your programmed activity and prompted use of showers and changerooms. Registered program participants are asked to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the start of their program time slot. All users must carry their ONEcard or their Van Vliet Complex membership card with them at all times. Van Vliet Complex memberships are sold at the Facility Services Desk (1-241). Starting Monday, July 19, 2021, registered drop-in at our facilities will no longer be required. Thank you for taking the time to schedule your drop-in times online before visiting our facilities and for your patience and understanding during our re-opening procedures. For seniors aged 60 and above, their lap swimming period will be from 6.30am to 8.45am. Other members of the general public will use the pool only in the evenings, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. From 9am to 6pm, the swimming pools are reserved only for organised classes (limited to five students per group with an additional coach/instructor). Usage is restricted to 90 minutes per booking for gyms, and 60 minutes per booking for swimming pools. Fitness Centre reserved sessions become available 7 days before the designated time slot. Mission Fitness will require proof of vaccination and photo ID every time patrons wish to utilize the facility. For people who wish to have a record of their vaccination status recorded in our system, they must come by the facility and sign a waiver of informed consent. By signing this waiver, this will allow members to access the facility without having to show the vaccination passport and ID each time. By October 24th, those individuals will then be required to have a second dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine. There will be a 15 minute change over period to ensure all patrons vacate the building accordingly.

Bookings are available 7 days in advance or 72 hours in advance . If you need to cancel your booking, you can do so up to 3 hours before your scheduled time-slot. No-shows will be tracked, and repeated no-shows will lead to a membership suspension. Every member is asked to limit booking to one 90-minute session or one 45-minute session per day. Mission Fitness will be limited to 25 people in the gym and 20 people on the track at a time. All attendees of the facility will be required to book a time from the time slots below for either the gym or track. Limit class spots and set up waiting listing for classes that have met full capacity. This will help to prevent overcrowding your appointment or class time slots. This time slot is open to seasoned CrossFit athletes who have demonstrated proper technique and don’t need to be under the watchful eye of a coach. Athletes will be able to come in and do a workout of their choice, work lifts or practice skill work. You can do the workout of the day, or past workouts from the week. This is time for you to do whatever you want, un-coached and in a reasonable space within the gym. There will be no structured warm-up, but a coach will be available to help you with warm-up, technique and skill if necessary. Where information has expired, the amount will be left as a credit on account. You do not have to do anything for this to take place.
